Healing Is A Promise | Beauty in Imperfection |

You were perfect the moment you came from your mother's womb. You were perfect yesterday, and today, even if your physical body is scarred or deformed, or maimed from living. If you were born with cerebral palsy, Down's Syndrome or missing arms or legs, you are still perfect. How can this be? Because WE look at ourselves from a flawed, narrow perspective; very close to the problems of life. He looks at us from the perspective of eternity, of perfecting a people that will be His companions and who will go through certain painful events in life to bring them into the place where they can walk beside Jesus and know Him intimately. He said "my grace is sufficient for thee, for my power is made perfect in weakness." It is the nature of the life of Christ, the life of the living Awesome God, to have perfection. To be perfect, to exude new life and renewal. Being in His presence perfects us and we become more like Him. Many scriptures remind us over and over that it IS God's will that we be healed, and live victorious lives. (On my websites you can find the healing scriptures and I'll give you those links to the right of this page. Below are more verses to claim.) Healing is a promise that must be CLAIMED. With our mouths we bless or curse ourselves. You have the same ability to use the name of Jesus to speak into existence a new life for you, that God would have to speak into existence a new body for you. "The power of life and death is in the tongue." Every morning and night you should be speaking in agreement with God, repeating the scriptures that declare and reinforce your healing, your abundance and your salvation. God is doing His part, what about you? These are some promises in scripture, but there are many more under Faith Confessions (to the right). Jeremiah
